This client had a shop that had been created by another developer but he was frustrated by the number of bugs in the system. The client was also conscious that they wanted to work with a developer who could provide them with the great looking front-end design they wanted but also make sure that the back-end modules and integration were up to scratch as well as the server.
Our technical solutions to help Upper 90 give their buyers confidence so they would sell more of their great soccer merchandise were based around 3 main areas:
- Seducing buyers with a new “Sale Section”. This section of the site is automatically re-stocked with items once they are allocated a special price. This allows buyers to easily and simply filter to see the goods that are on special offer and gives the store owner a simple administration system.
- Offering the convenience of “in-store pick up”. This allows buyers to select their items online and collect them in any one of Upper 90’s 3 New York stores. This provides buyers with real choice when it comes to delivery and collect options.
- Making sizes crystal clear. Buying online is often complex because of sizing guidelines. For this reason we created a size chart that was specifically tailored to each brand, so that buyers could buy with confidence, knowing that the size the ordered would fit.
